Vision

The vision of Youth Agora is to provide a possible solution to the current on-line situation of many projects and organisations active in the fields of youth information, volunteering, education and research.

Today, countless sources of information exist, although no single source has comprehensive coverage. Information is scattered and for users therefore hard to find.
Many informative websites are not properly built and don’t always offer the right services for the visitors.

Another important point is that the organisations involved in the fields of youth information, volunteering, education and research don’t form a tight community. In spite of their common interest, almost no knowledge and/or practice is shared among them and this in turn produce two main disadvantages:

Organisations, all individually, spend resources to implement the same range of projects, tools and services;

Information collected within the different projects and organisations, useful to the whole community, is not shared and is difficult to reach.

Youth Agora considers it as its main goal to develop a youth information platform that deals with the above mentioned issues.

Youth Agora is convinced that with the rise of the new technologies and the developed projects within the ESN Galaxy framework, the creation of enhanced youth information platforms in the fields of youth information, volunteering, education and research is close to becoming reality.
