On Thursday 3rd of June, I presented our European Campus project at the annual conference of international educators in Kansas City, USA.
The European Campus project, having ESN UNICA and Youth Agora as main partners, was presented during the Annual General Meeting 2010 of the Erasmus Student Network, held in the wonderful city of Istanbul 8-12 April 2010.
Youth Agora presented the recently released Master Template to 2 of the biggest Brussels based UNICA universities, Universite libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). The meeting started with a general presentation showing all latest developments on the European Campus project.
Version 0.2 of the Master Template, the main tool we will use to build the European Campus, has now been released and is available to the pilot group.
Christof Devriendt, Antonio De Marco and me presented the Master Template dissemination tool to IRO officers and international programme coordinators from University La Sapienza, University Tor Vergata and University Roma Tre. The site visit also offered a chance for the attendees to share their experience and give feedback on the European Campus project.
This is a mirror of the post at the European Campus website.
Youth Agora will attend the NAFSA 2009 Annual Conference in Los Angeles where we will present the European Campus project (conference website). NAFSA is the leading professional association promoting the exchange of students and scholars to and from the United States.
Background
Today, many projects and surveys evaluating the Erasmus programme for student mobility in Europe still regard information provision as one of the least developed aspects and biggest obstacles in successful student mobility.
