Youth Agora presented Sheryica, the Platform for Youth Information Workers, during the ERYICA General Meeting in Rotterdam, 3-6 December 2009.
In the Sheryica platform, Youth Information Workers from the 8000 ERYICA Information centers will be able to share stories and discuss topics about Youth Information. Sheryica will thus be both a dissemination and collaboration tool for the thousands of Youth Information workers in the ERYICA network.
Version 0.2 of the Master Template, the main tool we will use to build the European Campus, has now been released and is available to the pilot group.
DrupalCon, the annual European Drupal conference, has just finished; it is the key event for everything related to Drupal, the engine powering most of the youth Agora products and projects: there were technical and non-technical sessions about Drupal and its development, as well as insights into the coming Drupal 7.
Christof Devriendt, Antonio De Marco and me presented the Master Template dissemination tool to IRO officers and international programme coordinators from University La Sapienza, University Tor Vergata and University Roma Tre. The site visit also offered a chance for the attendees to share their experience and give feedback on the European Campus project.
In the framework of the Online Platform for Youth Information Workers project (Youth in Action programme, Action 4.5), Youth Agora will build a modern dissemination tool for the ERYICA network.
Details were discussed with both the ERYICA Board and representatives of its member organizations in Helsinki, during the ERYICA A Better Youth Information For new Times Seminar (June 11th-14th).
