In the framework of the Online Platform for Youth Information Workers project (Youth in Action programme, Action 4.5), Youth Agora will build a modern dissemination tool for the ERYICA network.
Details were discussed with both the ERYICA Board and representatives of its member organizations in Helsinki, during the ERYICA A Better Youth Information For new Times Seminar (June 11th-14th).
The ERYICA network consists of more than 8.000 youth information centers all over Europe, where 13.000 workers provide young people with generalist information under the principles of the European Youth Information Charter.
Youth Agora will build a platform to help these information centers with dissemination, by exposing their project in an attractive, interactive way: we will show the stories and the people behind them, and rely on integration with popular social networks like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn for a multiplier effect.
The platform will also include lightweight collaboration features, for basic working groups; youth information workers will be able to publish the outcomes of their working groups (stories, pictures, videos and documents) and to share problems and solution thanks to a "questions and answers" facility.
